TECHNOLOGY::OCTANE
|
Octane is our proprietary Game Engine designed for maximum flexibility using a modern plugin architecture. Octane uses C++ and is fully object-orientated. The engine is divided into several dynamic link libraries, which allows easy software upgrades and possible bugfixes. One of most important things is that it is API independant. You do not have to change anything from the engine if you're using Direct3D or OpenGL. It all depends on the plug-ins - same goes for sound and input. There are almost no limits with what you can do... Currently, the source code contains around 600 C++ files and weighs in at just over 71,000 lines of code!
